Your booking and payment data, arriving already split out

Direct feeds where the platforms allow it, built routines where they do not. Either way court hire, coaching and F&B land separately rather than typed up from a report.

The problem

A GENERALIST ACCOUNTANT FILES YOUR ACCOUNTS. THEY CAN'T TELL YOU WHERE THE NEXT POINT OF MARGIN IS.

01
You find out too late

Accounts arrive weeks after the period they describe. By the time you see a weak month, the chance to do anything about it has gone.

02
Revenue mix is invisible

Court hire, coaching, F&B and retail all get recorded, but rarely separated well enough to compare them, or margins. You cannot see which ones are performing.

03
Coaches are a grey area

Revenue splits, employment status and VAT treatment on coaching all need deciding before HMRC decides for you.

04
Investors ask monthly

A lender or an investor will ask when it suits them, in their format. Having it ready before they ask puts you on the front foot.

Benchmark

Five numbers, defined the same way every month

Five numbers describe the unit economics of a court hour. The same five appear in your reporting pack every month, so a number never changes definition between conversations. Anonymised data across our portfolio will allow you to compare yourself to peers.

Onboarding

What your first four weeks look like

Four weeks from signature to your first reporting pack. You can start mid-year and mid-quarter: we pick up from your last closed month, rebuild the reporting around courts rather than cost codes, and close the first month-end on the new structure. Nothing about how you run the venue has to change.

WEEK 01
Kick-off and access

Ways of working agreed, read-only access to your systems, and professional clearance handled with your current accountant.

WEEK 02
Rebuild

Chart of accounts restructured around court hire, coaching and F&B, with coach contracts and the VAT position on advance bookings reviewed.

WEEK 03
Catch-up

The current period brought up to date and reconciled, and your court and clubhouse lease reviewed so the treatment is right from the start.

WEEK 04
First close

First management pack and first KPI set on the new structure, with written commentary on what the numbers say.

FAQ

Five things operators ask

All 26 FAQs
When will we actually see our numbers?

Six working days after month end on Grow and above. Most operators are used to waiting many weeks for accounts that have stopped being useful by the time they receive them. Up to date and insightful reporting means you can still act on what they tell you.

What do we get that our current accountant does not do?

A firm that understands your business, your peers and your industry. A setup and process that's aligned to your strategy and organises your data and technology to match. You never explain how coaching revenue works or what a padel investor expects to see.

What will this actually cost us?

£750 to £2,050 a month depending on your plan, fixed. Less than a part-time finance hire, and wider in scope than a compliance-only practice. That covers unlimited bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts and corporation tax, plus the monthly close, your KPIs read alongside the numbers, and the calls in between. Onboarding is a one-off charge of one month's fee.

Can you help beyond the numbers?

Yes, outside the monthly subscription and available on request. Fractional CFO, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, investor and transaction readiness, fundraising and corporate finance, business valuations, SEIS/EIS advance assurance and others.

How do we get started?

A short call, then read-only access to your data so we can see the shape of the business. Proposal, agreement, and we contact your outgoing accountant to handle clearance and the handover. We pick up from your last closed month, whatever point in the year it is.
